Beginning July 1, UWG transitioned to License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology for vehicle registration and parking enforcement. Students are still required to register their vehicles each academic year.

Parking Orientation Requirements
To ensure the LPR system can identify your registered vehicle, park with your registered license plate facing the driving lane.
Individuals who prefer to back into or pull through parking spaces may purchase an optional front plate from the Campus Services Office in the Momentum Center. Front plates are available for a one-time fee of $10 and may be transferred between registered vehicles.
